Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance on recycling equipment, compactors, and light trucks. The role focuses on diagnosing mechanical problems, performing repairs, and ensuring safe, efficient operation across our waste-management platform.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED (or 4 years of related experience) and a valid driver license. Experience with hydraulic, brake, transmission, and electrical systems is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1 year of related equipment maintenance and repair, or 4 years of related experience.
• Valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses mechanical problems on diesel-powered equipment.
• Repairs and maintains light trucks, compactors, and recycling equipment.
• Replaces parts such as pistons, rods, gears, valves, and bearings.
• Overhauls or replaces blowers, generators, and pumps.
• Reads repair orders and communicates with supervisors for clarification.
• Documents parts usage and times on work orders.
