Job summary

United Rentals is the world's largest equipment rental provider seeking a Diesel Mechanic - Experienced (Service Tech IV). You will perform maintenance and repairs on complex equipment with limited supervision in a safe, professional environment.

You'll work to support customers, travel to job sites when needed, and mentor lower level technicians while maintaining thorough documentation of all work performed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Willing to travel to customer sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment.
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance when required.
• Assist in training lower level technicians.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work orders daily.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
• Perform other duties as needed.
