Job summary

Central Pre-Mix Concrete Co., a CRH Company, is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to inspect, repair, and maintain gasoline and diesel powered mobile equipment. You will diagnose issues, disassemble and reassemble components, and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

CDL and a medical card are required or obtainable within 90 days. The role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for internal mobility within a large, national family of companies.

Qualifications

• Diesel engine and heavy equipment knowledge required.
• Computer skills plus.
• Factory training a plus.
• Good communication skills required.
• Demonstrates ability to work in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes malfunctions and repairs, rebuilds, and maintains equipment.
• Operates and inspects machines to diagnose defects.
• Replaces defective engines and subassemblies such as transmissions.
• Tests overhauled equipment for operating efficiency.
• May direct workers in cleaning parts and assisting with assembly.
