Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience as a diesel mechanic or diesel technician working on trucks or trailers.
• Strong working knowledge of diesel engines exhaust aftertreatment systems and diagnostic tools.
• Welding experience required.
• Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs independently in a fast-paced fleet environment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must provide basic personal hand tools; larger tools provided.
• Must pass pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.

• Service diesel engines exhaust aftertreatment systems and related truck and trailer components.
• Use engine diagnostic software and testing procedures to identify problems and plan repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and regular service to keep fleet equipment operating safely.
• Complete roadside service calls as needed and support daily fleet maintenance priorities.
• Maintain accurate repair records, basic personal hand tools, and a safe clean organized work area.
