Excel Truck Group in Statesville, NC is seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics to join our team. You can earn industry-leading pay up to $90k in your first year, with extensive training and support, plus tools and opportunities to advance in your career.

If you have experience as a diesel truck technician, certifications are a plus, and experience with Freightliner, Mack, Sterling, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, and Cummins is ideal but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a diesel truck technician.
• Certification is a plus.
• Experience with Freightliner, Mack, Sterling, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel and/or Cummins ideal but not required.
• Completion of a Diesel technician school and certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled maintenance.
• Ideally certified to perform State Inspections and CDL.
• Prepares shop work orders on equipment repair.
• Computer experience.
• Cleans shop and surrounding work areas.
• Promotes cooperation and teamwork.
• Willing to train and maintain certifications necessary as ongoing technician training and development.
• Able to embrace our Elite Support & Safety Culture.
• Must have your own tools.
