Job summary
MasterTech is seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics in Leeds, AL to maintain, diagnose, and repair over-the-road infrastructure maintenance equipment such as vac trucks, street sweepers, pumps, and plows.
The role offers hourly pay from $27.00 to $35.00 based on experience, with quarterly bonuses around 6% of base pay, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, sick/personal days, and 401K match. Overtime opportunities are available.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or related field
- Foundational knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Experience with OEM diagnostic software or other scanners
- Welding and fabrication experience is preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Must have own set of tools
Responsibilities
- Maintain, diagnose, and repair of over-the-road infrastructure maintenance equipment.
- Perform diagnostics using OEM software and scanners.
- Repair and fabricate components as needed (welding).
- Shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 6AM–8AM start; OT available.
