Job summary

MasterTech is seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics in Leeds, AL to maintain, diagnose, and repair over-the-road infrastructure maintenance equipment such as vac trucks, street sweepers, pumps, and plows.

The role offers hourly pay from $27.00 to $35.00 based on experience, with quarterly bonuses around 6% of base pay, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, sick/personal days, and 401K match. Overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or related field
• Foundational knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Experience with OEM diagnostic software or other scanners
• Welding and fabrication experience is preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Must have own set of tools

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair of over-the-road infrastructure maintenance equipment.
• Perform diagnostics using OEM software and scanners.
• Repair and fabricate components as needed (welding).
• Shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 6AM–8AM start; OT available.

Job description

MasterTech is on the search for experienced Diesel Mechanics in Leeds, AL.

The successful Mechanics will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of over-the-road infrastructure maintenance equipment, including vac trucks, street sweepers, pumps, plows, etc.

Compensation: $27.00 - $35.00/hour to start based on experience. Quarterly bonuses of around 6% of annual base pay.

Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6AM-8AM start time. OT available.

Key Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or related field (heavy equipment, oilfield, automotive, etc.)
