Qualifications

• Experience repairing diesel engines and related systems.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance on machinery.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with hydraulic, electrical, and braking systems.

Responsibilities

• Repair diesel engines, drive trains and truck chassis.
• Perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors, and production machines.
• Identify and locate faults using observation and precision measuring instruments.
• Dismantle devices and replace defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to determine wear.
• Adjust components using hand tools, levels, and plumb bobs.
• Schedule and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.
