DSM Contracting in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Lead SHOP Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered fleet and heavy equipment. You will lead shop operations, mentor technicians, and ensure DOT/OEM compliance while coordinating repairs and parts flow.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in diesel/heavy equipment repair, with Mack Maxitorque experience, strong diagnostics, and fluency in Spanish/English preferred. CDL is a plus, with overtime opportunities available.

Formación

• Experience with diesel, fleet and heavy equipment repair.
• Experience with Mack Maxitorque trucks.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead troubleshooting, diagnose, repair and maintain trucks and heavy equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet and heavy equipment.
• Coordinate daily shop repairs to improve efficiency.
• Inspect equipment for DOT and OEM compliance.
• Maintain service records and documentation.
• Provide guidance and training to mechanics and technicians.
• Communicate equipment status with supervisors and field crews.
