Qualifications

• Proven proficiency in diagnosing hydraulic, electrical, and air brake systems.
• Must possess a personal set of hand tools required for diesel mechanic work.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations for commercial vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Make general mechanical repairs to engines, brakes, tires, and truck bodies.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance service.
• Understand DOT regulations and keep trucks running in accordance with those specifications.
• Have a positive attitude and be open to learning about various types of equipment from a master mechanic.
