Southwest Mobile Storage, Inc. seeks an experienced Diesel Mechanic in Phoenix, AZ to diagnose, repair and maintain diesel trucks and fleet vehicles. Join a family-owned team focused on safety, quality, and professional growth, with a structured on-site workweek.

You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect engines and hydraulics, use diagnostic tools, and keep detailed repair records. CDL is a plus but not required; strong teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and diagnostics.
Experience using diagnostic software and shop equipment.
Able to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues efficiently.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles.
Perform preventive maintenance services, inspections, and repairs.
Inspect, test, and repair engines, brakes, steering, suspensions, electrical systems, and hydraulics.
Use diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
Change tires and perform general fleet maintenance as needed.
Complete vehicle inspections and ensure safety standards.
Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records.
Work safely following company and OSHA guidelines.
Assist with additional shop and fleet maintenance duties as assigned.
