United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech III) to perform maintenance and repair on complex rental equipment in a safe, professional manner.

The role includes potential progression toward higher Service Technician and leadership roles within the Service Department. You will service equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems, train junior technicians, and maintain accurate work records while traveling to job sites when required.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
• Strong mechanical background knowledge of various engines.

Responsabilidades

• Safe maintenance and repair of a variety of complex rental equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis.
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance as required; maintain service vehicle clean and professional.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
