Job Requirements:

• 5-8+ years of advanced vehicle knowledge, including electrical systems and diesel/gasoline engines
• In-depth understanding of diesel engine components and operation
• Proficiency with maintenance tools and repair equipment
• Comfort with mechanical and electrical power tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Basic computer and electronics knowledge
• Proficiency with diesel engine diagnostic software
• Valid driver’s license (required)
• Valid CDL (a plus)
• Valid DOT Medical Card (required)
• DOT Physical (paid for by company)
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Review work orders and evaluate tasks
• Develop work plans based on diagnostics
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
• Inspect vehicle systems (suspensions, steering, exhaust)
• Repair or replace transmissions, brakes, engines, and related parts
• Conduct roadside repairs and field visits as needed
• Test drive repaired vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, wheel balancing, alignments, brake checks)
• Maintain records of parts and service
