Job Summary:

SCA maintains a diverse fleet including sweepers, trucks, trailers, and support equipment. This experienced mechanic position offers room for advancement.

Safety Program:

Requirements:

• 5-8+ years of advanced vehicle knowledge, including electrical systems and diesel/gasoline engines
• Deep understanding of diesel engine components and operation
• Proficiency with maintenance tools and repair equipment
• Comfort with mechanical and electrical power tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Basic computer and electronics knowledge
• Proficiency with diesel diagnostic software
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
• Valid DOT Medical Card (company paid)
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Read and evaluate work orders
• Develop work plans and diagnose issues
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
• Inspect vehicle systems and perform repairs
• Conduct roadside repairs when needed
• Test drive repaired vehicles
• Complete routine maintenance tasks
• Maintain records of parts and services
