Reyes Fleet Management, 1 of the largest privately held fleets in the U.S., is seeking aDiesel Mechanic /Fleet Technician Bto focus on the PM services of tractors, trailers, liftgates, and reefer units at ourMartin Browershop inEnfield, CT.

Shift:Full-TimelSunday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Friday from 2:00pm-12:30amOR

Sunday-Thursday or Monday-Friday from 4:00pm-12:30am

Pay: $28.00-$31.00/HR based on experience and qualifications

Position Responsibilities:

• The Fleet Technician focuses on the preventative maintenance of the fleet diesel equipment, identifying root causes of basic failures to perform repairs as needed
• As the Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance
• You will inspect brake systems to ensure that machines are in proper operating condition and make sure that equipment has required licensing and registration
• You will use hand tools and power tools such as screwdrivers and perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery
• You will examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 plus years of related experience
• Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds
• Must have a valid Driver’s License to operate applicable company vehicles
• Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Technical School Certification
