The Diesel Parlor LLC in Port St. Lucie, FL is seeking a skilled Shop/Field Mechanic to join our growing team. This hands-on role covers in‑shop diesel repairs and on‑site field service calls to keep equipment at peak performance.

You will diagnose and repair diesel and gas engines and drivetrains, perform preventive maintenance, use diagnostic tools, and document repairs for customers and management. This role requires reliability, a valid driver's license (CDL preferred), own tools, and the

Qualifications

Proven experience as a diesel mechanic in a shop or field service environment.
Strong knowledge of diesel and gas engine systems, hydraulics, electrical, and drivetrain components.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software such as Cummins Insite or Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel and gas engines, drivetrains, and related systems in a shop and field setting.
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and tune-ups on diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
Respond to field service calls and perform on-site repairs as needed.
Utilize diagnostic software and tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
Complete accurate repair orders, service documentation, and parts requests.
Communicate repair findings and recommendations clearly to customers and management.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with shop standards
