The Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech III) role involves performing maintenance and repairs on complex rental equipment in a safe and professional manner, helping you build your future with a leading employer. As part of the Service Department you’ll diagnose issues across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems, assist in training lower level technicians, and ensure accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record.
• 35 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
• Must own tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safe maintenance and repair of complex rental equipment across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Assist in training lower level technicians.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation (work orders) daily.
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance as needed; keep service vehicle clean and professional.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
• Other duties as needed.
