United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech III) in Las Vegas, NV. You will perform maintenance and repairs on complex rental equipment, travel to customer sites when needed, and support other technicians while delivering excellent customer service.

This role offers opportunity for advancement within the Service Department, with a focus on safe, professional workmanship and timely documentation of all service activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• 3–5 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and tool knowledge.
• Own tools applicable to position.

Responsabilités

• Safe maintenance and repair of complex rental equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) daily.
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance when required; keep service vehicle clean and professional.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
