Job summary

Titan Machinery is seeking a Case IH Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel machinery to manufacturer specifications with a focus on quality workmanship.

The role requires 2+ years of experience or an associate degree, own tools, the ability to travel up to 75%, and strong documentation/communication skills to support service customers and the team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience or an Associate's Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or related program.
• 1+ years of successfully completing tasks with limited supervision.
• Clean driving record and ability to travel up to 75% with overnight stays.
• Must have own tools and be able to obtain/maintain a DOT Medical Certification.
• Ability to work flexible/on-call hours and communicate findings clearly.

Overview

Join the Titan Machinery team as a Case IH Diesel Mechanic and leverage your expertise to deliver exceptional service for diesel machinery diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic, Repair, and Technical Expertise: Perform accurate diagnosis, repair, and reconditioning of machine systems and components in accordance with manufacturer specifications, ensuring high-quality and efficient workmanship
• Documentation and Communication: Communicate findings, repair needs, and expected timelines clearly and professionally with the Service Manager, service team, and customers while providing timely and courteous service
• Technical Development and Customer Focus: Participate in ongoing professional and technical training to maintain current product knowledge and service capabilities. Identify customer service opportunities and recommend solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and support department profitability
• Safety and Compliance:Follow all safety rules, policies, and regulations while performing work assignments

Required:

• Have 2+ years of related experience OR an Associate's Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or related program
• 1+ years of successfully completing tasks with limited supervision
• Clean driving record
• Must have own tools
• Must have or have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Certification
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time with occasional overnights and perform 50% or more work offsite/in the field
• Ability to work flexible/on-call hours
• Keen attention to detail, high level of initiative, and the ability to work independently
• Exceptional documentation and communication abilities
