Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a skilled fleet technician to diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units. This role involves performing PMs, electrical troubleshooting, and road call services with minimal supervision.

You will maintain documentation in the Enterprise Asset Management system, ensure regulatory compliance, and train other team members. Competitive pay, benefits, and sign-on bonus offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair, including PMs, tires and brakes, diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and 2+ years in A/C refrigeration.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose faults on fleet diesel equipment.
• Inspect brakes, steering, wheel bearings and replace parts as needed.
• Ensure roadworthiness through licensing/registration checks.
• Document repairs and PMs in the EAM system.
• Install, replace and repair onboard computers.
• Use tools and perform routine maintenance activities.
• Train other employees and perform road call services as required.
