About the Role

As a Diesel Mechanic – Customer Equipment Solutions (Service Tech IV - CES), you'll perform maintenance and repairs on complex equipment with limited supervision, ensuring safety and professionalism. This role offers opportunities for growth into leadership positions within our Service Department, emphasizing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment, using independent judgment.
2. Travel to customer sites for equipment repairs/maintenance; maintain a clean and professional service vehicle.
3. Assist in training lower-level technicians.
4. Complete and document work orders accurately and promptly.
5. Demonstrate and upsell complex equipment to customers.
6. Assist with equipment and parts pickup/delivery.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid driver's license with an acceptable record.
3. At least 5 years of experience in equipment repair/maintenance.
4. Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of tools.
5. Knowledge of construction equipment and engines.
6. Ability to read schematics and diagrams.
7. Own tools applicable to the position.
8. Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
9. Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs frequently.
