Transdev in Cocoa, FL is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines across a variety of vehicles and equipment. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and fleet longevity, with paid CDL training available for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of automotive or diesel repair employment experience or combination of education & experience.
• Willingness to obtain Commercial Driver's License within the first year; paid CDL training available.
• ASE certifications preferred; ASE certification program provided.
• Mechanic’s tool set.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs on brakes, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, transmissions.
• Maintain records of all work completed, including parts and supplies used.
• Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual inspections.
