Central Supply Company, a CRH company, is seeking a Diesel Mechanic in Bridgeport, WV to diagnose and repair a Class 8 heavy fleet and perform preventative maintenance. The role requires reading manuals and schematics, using hand tools, and maintaining job-related records.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of maintenance experience, and CDL Class B or higher preferred. Working days, evenings, and weekends are required, with opportunities to grow within CRH.

Qualifications

• Maintain proper certifications needed to perform the job.
• Work on mechanical issues related to ready mix concrete equipment including, but not limited to: entire fleet of vehicles, hydraulics, electrical, etc.
• Read and understand operating manuals, schematic, and technical drawings.
• Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• CDL Class B or higher preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment and Class 8 heavy vehicles, perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete related reports and paperwork, order parts, operate and maintain and supply your own suitable work tools.
• Keep equipment in good working condition, repair and replace damaged or worn parts.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoists and hand tools.
• Maintain a clean driving record in the event you are called upon to drive a company vehicle.
