Job summary

Central Supply Company, a CRH company, is seeking a Diesel Mechanic in Barboursville, WV, to diagnose and repair Class 8 vehicles and perform preventive maintenance on the fleet. You will handle parts orders, maintenance reports, and tool management, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years in maintenance, and CDL Class B preferred. Expect a demanding role with day, evening, and weekend shifts, and opportunities to contribute

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience is preferred.
• CDL Class B or higher preferred may be required in some roles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment and Class 8 heavy vehicles, and perform preventative maintenance on the fleet.
• Order parts, maintain shop tools and perform routine maintenance.
• Read and interpret operating manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition and ensure a clean driving record.
• Work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
