Job Description:
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid level checks.
  • Diagnose and repair complex engine issues.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools effectively.
  • Understand and work with basic electrical systems within diesel engines.
  • Perform minor component replacements.
  • Mount and balance tires, repair punctures, and manage inventory.
  • Handle large, heavy tires and perform on-site tire repairs.
  • Adhere to safety procedures while working on heavy machinery and tires.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in routine maintenance and complex engine diagnostics.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and basic electrical systems.
  • Basic mechanical skills and physical fitness.
  • Heavy equipment operation and problem-solving.
  • Teamwork and adaptability.
  • Certification: Basic Automotive Tire Service (ATS) and Certified Earthmover Tire Service (ETS) from TIA.
  • Safety: Experience with PPE, proper lifting techniques, and adherence to safety protocols.
Working Conditions:
  • On-site role in Houston, requiring frequent fieldwork and exposure to outdoor port environments.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Physical ability to climb equipment, lift moderate weights, and work in variable weather conditions.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:
