United Rentals is seeking a Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech II) in Irving, TX to perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repairs on rental equipment. You will handle mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems while maintaining thorough work orders and providing excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and 1–2 years of relevant experience, plus own tools and basic schematics understanding.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• 1–2 years of experience repairing/maintaining vehicles and equipment.
• Own tools applicable to position; basic understanding of schematics and diagrams.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance and repair of rental equipment and tools involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis.
• Demonstrate a wide array of complex equipment for customers.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
• Other duties assigned as needed
