GFL Environmental is seeking a Level A or B Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain our company-owned heavy-duty trucks and rolling stock. You will work with diesel, CNG, gas, and electric systems in a safety‑conscious environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year diesel experience (Level B) with Level A diagnostic skills, and own tools. We offer strong benefits, on‑the‑job training, and opportunities for growth.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; trade/ tech school preferred.
• 1+ year of hands-on diesel mechanic experience (Level B).
• Advanced diagnostic capabilities (Level A) and use of diagnostic software.
• Experience with computerized diagnostics and shop management software.
• Own a personal set of tools for heavy-duty repairs.

Responsabilidades

• Advanced Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshoot and repair heavy‑duty diesel, CNG, gas, and electric equipment.
• Work Order & Inventory Management: Plan/ schedule repairs, procure parts, and complete daily reports.
• Fleet Support: Review write-ups, coordinate shop schedules, maintain readiness.
• Safety First: Maintain safe conditions and comply with regulations; keep a clean area.
• Mentorship & Development: Assist in training, grow skills with new tech.
• Tool Ownership: Use personal hand/power tools for hydraulic, engine, and structural work.
