Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent; automotive or diesel tech preferred.
- Ability to diagnose problems in electrical circuits.
- Read diagrams and interpret drawings and shop manuals.
- Perform high-precision work and inspect buses per instructions.
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing, repairing and verifying repairs on a fleet of Metro transit buses.
- Diagnosis of engines, transmissions/drivelines, air brakes and steering/suspension systems; understand electrical systems.
- Performing and documenting inspections, listing defects and repairing defects.
- Communicate specific details about diagnosis and repairs to the buses.
