Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician in Cincinnati to service and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and keep accurate work records, including road call services when needed.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of heavy-duty vehicle repair experience; an Associate degree or technical diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent experience considered.
• 2+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair incl. PMs, tires/wheels, air brakes, diagnostics, A/C refrigeration.
• Associates or technical diploma preferred.
• Certifications in tire/wheel, brakes, EPA, DOT inspections, transmissions, engines are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet diesel equipment (tractors, trailers, reefer units).
• Inspect and repair brakes, steering, wheels, and other critical components.
• Install/repair onboard computers; document work orders in the system.
• Ensure roadworthy licensing and registration for vehicles.
• Carry out road call services as needed.
