Job summary

Martin Transportation Systems is seeking Diesel Truck Mechanics for a full-time 2nd shift (3pm–11pm). Join a growing team and work on a modern fleet of Freightliner tractors and trailers in a safe, supportive environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of Class 8 truck experience, can diagnose/repair and perform maintenance, and will bring their own basic tools. Pay is based on experience and a strong benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience working on all makes and models of Class 8 trucks.
• Diagnose, repair and perform general maintenance.
• Maintenance on Freightliner tractors and trailers.
• Trailer repairs, services and welding.
• Light computer work is requested.
• Must have own basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Class 8 trucks and trailers.
• Perform general maintenance on Freightliner tractors and trailers.
• Weld and service trailers as needed.
• Carry out light computer diagnostics related tasks.

Diesel Truck Mechanics Needed

Job Type: Full-time

• 2nd Shift: 3pm - 11pm

Required experience:

• 2+years experience working on all makes and models of Class 8 trucks

The right diesel mechanic will have the following:

• Experience using Class 8 diagnostic tools
• Some experience as a Diesel Mechanic repairing trucks and/or trailers
• Be able to diagnose, repair and perform general maintenance
• Be able to perform general maintenance on our recent model fleet of Freightliner Tractors
• Be able to perform general maintenance on our recent model fleet of trailers
• Trailer repairs, services and welding
• Light computer work also requested
• Must have your own basic tools
• Pay based on experience
