Job summary

Qualifications

• Must own tools for the job.

• Conduct engine diagnostics and repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles.

• Engine diagnostics and repair

• Transmission diagnosing, removing and rebuilding
• Electrical troubleshooting, wiring and repairs
• Hydraulic systems, pumps, cylinders and valves, and hoses
• Heavy-duty trucks, trailers and equipment
• Fabricate hoses
• Proficiency with welding, torches, etc.
• Roadside emergency
• Onsite diagnostics and repairs

Qualifications

• Own tools
• Valid driver’s license, CDL a bonus
• Ability to work flexible hours, overtime as needed
• Customer service skills
• Available as mobile service when needed
• Capable of managing long active hours in workshop setting
• Bending, lifting of heavy parts and physical work involved
• Exposure to outdoors in varying weather conditions

Salary Range

For compliance purposes for NYS transparency, the expected salary range is $28.00 - $38.00. Compensation will be based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
