Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

Location: 674 Country Road 56, Toronto, Ohio 43964 - Near Steubenville, Ohio

Drake Tire, located inside Black Star Transit LLC, is seeking a skilled and reliable Diesel Mechanic to join our team.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel trucks and fleet equipment.
2. Conduct inspections and safety checks to ensure DOT compliance.
3. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems of tractor-trailer trucks.
4. Keep accurate service records and communicate effectively with the operations team.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair software.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
• CDL license is a plus.

Pay is based on experience: $20.00 to $27.00 per hour.
