Job summary

Chainlink SA is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to service, maintain and repair diesel-powered vehicles and equipment in a demanding abattoir environment. The role focuses on ensuring reliability and minimizing downtime across trucks, tractors, loaders and generators.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience, strong fault-finding skills, and the ability to work independently in a safe, efficient manner within an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Experience maintaining, diagnosing and repairing diesel equipment.
• Experience on trucks, tractors, front-end loaders and diesel generators.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to perform servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance independently.
