Placements24 is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic for a prominent role in Welkom, Free State. You will diagnose, repair, and perform proactive maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, and braking systems to keep a large fleet operational and safe.

You will work in a busy workshop, using diagnostic tools and manuals, and collaborate with fleet managers to minimize downtime. A solid trade qualification and hands-on problem solving are essential.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably with heavy‑duty trucks/equipment.
• Trade qualification in Diesel Mechanics is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, and transmissions.
• Proficient with diagnostic equipment and service manuals.
