Job summary

Robbins Lumber, Inc. in Searsmont, Maine seeks a skilled mechanic to keep our fleet and sawmill equipment running safely and efficiently. You will diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems, brakes, steering, and drivetrains on trucks and heavy equipment.

Starting pay is $30–$35 per hour with overtime, health insurance, paid vacation and holidays, a retirement plan, and a family‑oriented workplace that values safety, quality, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize repairs.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license required. CDL is a plus but not required.
