Job summary

Suncore seeks a skilled Diesel Mechanic to keep heavy construction equipment performing at peak efficiency. You will perform preventive maintenance and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and dump trucks.

The role features an afternoon shift 11am-7pm, with a focus on safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement. Valid CDL and a collaborative team environment are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and hydraulic diagrams.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience as a Diesel Mechanic on heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Diesel mechanic certification or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Dependable team player with pride in quality workmanship and learning.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on construction equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and dump trucks.
• Inspect equipment to identify worn or damaged components and recommend repairs.
• Troubleshoot engine fault codes using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Help maintain a safe, efficient fleet to keep operations running smoothly.
