Job summary

TL Construction LLC and TL Transportation LLC are seeking a reliable Mechanic to maintain and repair a wide range of road construction equipment, dump trucks, trailers, and pickups. You will perform inspections, diagnose issues, weld, fabricate parts, and ensure on-site equipment stays safe and productive.

Strong knowledge of hydraulics, HVAC, electrical systems, and welding techniques is required. Field service experience in road construction is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing road construction equipment, dump trucks, trailers and pickups.
• Welding and fabrication to repair or modify machinery parts.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly in English.

Job Overview

We are seeking a Mechanic to join our team at TL Construction LLC and TL Transportation LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of construction equipment, dump trucks, truck/trailers and pickup trucks. Welding and fabrication tasks to repair or modify machinery parts.

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Duties:

Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on road construction equipment, including hydraulics, HVAC systems, and electrical components.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

Welding and fabrication tasks to repair or modify machinery parts.

Troubleshooting on-site equipment/trucks.

Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety procedures related to road construction equipment maintenance.

Knowledge of hydraulic systems, HVAC/R systems, welding techniques, and precision measuring instruments.

Strong skills for troubleshooting mechanical or electrical issues.

Customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly in English.

Field service experience in road construction settings and military background is a plus due to discipline and technical training.
