Position Summary

We are looking for a Diesel and Gas Mechanic with a minimum of 5 years of experience. The mechanic will perform maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, diesel and gas systems on our fleet of equipment and tools while using a high degree of independent judgment. Responsibilities include service documentation, training junior technicians, accurately ordering parts from vendors, and various other tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work on equipment repairs and maintenance
• Conduct equipment functionality, use, and safety tests
• Train mechanics as needed
• Commute to job sites to conduct equipment maintenance and repairs if needed
• Utilize various computer applications and programs

Qualifications and Expectations

• Minimum of five years of experience repairing and maintaining construction equipment
• Highly developed mechanical background with experience repairing hydraulics, electric systems, diesel & gas engines
• Extensive knowledge of construction equipment, advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
• Own tools required to perform job
• Exhibit strong teamwork, written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Basic knowledge and use of office equipment and computer skills

Compensation

$34–$36 per hour
