Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, heavy equipment, trucks, and support vehicles.
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Inspect and service components such as transmissions, drivetrains, fuel systems, braking systems, and hydraulic systems.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns in the field and perform timely, effective repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Operate diagnostic tools and equipment to assess system performance and troubleshoot malfunctions.
Key Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in diesel mechanics preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in diesel engine and heavy equipment repair, ideally in construction or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic software and tools.
  • Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
