R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for a Diesel Mechanic at our Columbiana, OH Service Center. You will perform day-to-day maintenance on fleet equipment, including preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers, and possibly forklifts.

Typical shifts are Monday - Friday, full-time, with various shifts. Benefits are comprehensive, including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, and lodging at employee resorts.

Competenze

• Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.
• Must be able to handle major repairs.
• Experience with AC and Electrical.
• Have the ability to lift 50lbs.
• Must have own tools.

Mansioni

• Perform day-to-day equipment maintenance on fleet equipment.
• Execute preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs.
• Maintain trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies and related gear.
• Operate welding where location permits.

Job Description

R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for Diesel Mechanics at our Columbiana, OH Service Center. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for day-to-day equipment maintenance on our fleet equipment consisting of preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs to Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potentially forklifts. Requirements

• Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
• Must be able to handle major repairs
• Experience with AC and Electrical

Preferred

• 2+ Years of Diesel Mechanic experience preferred
• Experience in preventive maintenance of Cummins & Detroit engines
• Experience using Cetaris used for work orders
• Experience in Trailer PMs and repairs
