High Tide Oil Company, Inc. is currently hiring a Full Time Experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Moody, AL. You will perform maintenance and repair of diesel-powered vehicles, with typical hours Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm and some flexibility for emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years experience as a diesel mechanic preferred.
• Familiar with diagnostic tools and computer software used in modern diesel engines.
• Valid driver’s license; Class A CDL a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and repairs vehicles with diesel engines.
• Performs routine repairs such as oil and filter changes and tire rotations.
• Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled repairs to minimize downtime.
• Interprets diagnostic test results accurately.
• Collaborates with team to prioritize and complete tasks.
• Uses power, machine, and hand tools safely and keeps records of maintenance.

Qualifications And Skills

• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and computer software used in modern diesel engines.
• Demonstrates time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic is required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Class A CDL a plus, but not required.
• Formal education is not required, a certificate or degree in diesel technology or a related field will be highly advantageous.
