Job Description

As a Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech III), you'll perform maintenance and repairs on complex equipment, ensuring safety and professionalism. This role offers opportunities for growth into higher technician and leadership positions within our Service Department. You will also provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

1. Perform safe maintenance and repair of rental equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
2. Assist in training lower-level technicians as needed.
3. Maintain documentation of work performed accurately and timely.
4. Travel to customer sites for repairs when required, maintaining a clean and professional service vehicle.
5. Assist with equipment and parts transportation.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
3. 3-5 years of experience in repairing/maintaining equipment.
4. Advanced mechanical skills and knowledge of tools.
5. Strong knowledge of engines.
6. Own tools applicable to the position.
7. Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
8. Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs frequently.
