Job summary

R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for a Diesel Mechanic at our Manchester, NH Service Center. You will perform day-to-day maintenance on fleet equipment including preventive maintenance and repairs to Class 8 trucks, trailers, and related components.

The role requires 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience, knowledge of Cummins and Detroit engines, ability to lift 50 lbs, and owning your tools. Join a team with comprehensive benefits and a focus on safety and quality of service.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.
• Must be able to handle major repairs.
• Experience with AC and Electrical systems.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and have own tools.
• 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience preferred.
• Experience with Cummins & Detroit engines.
• Experience in Trailer PMs and repairs, Cetaris used for work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day equipment maintenance on fleet trucks and trailers.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs from minor to major.
• Maintain trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, and dollies; welding as location permits.
• Work on Class 8 trucks and related equipment.

Diesel Mechanic - $34.00 - $42.93/hr.

Full-Time Monday to Friday 2nd shift 3:00 pm to 1:30 am

Job Description: R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for Diesel Mechanics at our Manchester, NH Service Center. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for day-to-day equipment maintenance on our fleet equipment consisting of preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs to Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potentially forklifts. This can include maintaining trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, welding depending on location.

Requirements:

• Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
• Must be able to handle major repairs
• Experience with AC and Electrical
• Have the ability to lift 50lbs
• Must have own tools
• 2+ Years of Diesel Mechanic experience preferred
• Experience in preventive maintenance of Cummins & Detroit engines
