Job description

RoMac Building Supply is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Leesburg, Florida. This full-time position is responsible for performing mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and diagnostics on company vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical experience, the ability to work independently, and a valid Florida driver's license.

Responsibilities

Perform minor and major mechanical repairs

Maintaining updated records of preventative maintenance

Inspect vehicles and equipment and evaluate condition; service as needed

Operate tools, equipment and machinery according to prescribed safety procedures

Other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications

Able to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs without supervision

Able to operate equipment and tools involved in vehicle repair and maintenance

Strong mechanical and manufacturing experience

Driver’s License with good driving record

Organized and detail oriented

Diesel Mechanic: 1 year (Required)

Automotive diagnostics: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

Florida Driver's License (Required)
