Job Summary:

Gassafy Wholesale is seeking a skilled and reliable Part-Time Medium Duty Diesel Mechanic with a strong focus on preventive maintenance and light repairs. The ideal candidate will have experience working on medium-duty diesel trucks, ensuring they are operating safely and efficiently. This position is perfect for someone looking for flexible hours while maintaining and servicing a fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on medium-duty diesel trucks, including oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and fluid checks.

  • Conduct inspections to identify potential mechanical issues and recommend necessary repairs.

  • Perform minor repairs such as brake adjustments, belt and hose replacements, and battery maintenance.

  • Keep accurate records of maintenance services, inspections, and repairs.

  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

  • Diagnosing minor mechanical issues and coordinatingmajor repairs with truck service centers.

Qualifications:

  • Skills: Strong knowledge of diesel engine maintenance, vehicle inspections, and minor repairs.

  • Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

  • Basic computer skills for logging maintenance records.

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Part-time: Flexible schedule, typically 20-30 hours per week.(to be determined).

  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience.

  • All tools and equipment are provided.
