Tri-County International Trucks/Idealease is a family-owned business seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics to diagnose, repair, and maintain light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks and buses.

Qualifications:

  • At least one year of hands-on experience as a diesel technician, preferably in dealership or fleet environments
  • Michigan State Certifications in Heavy Duty Truck; Trainee Permit accepted
  • ASE, Navistar, or Cummins Certifications are a plus
  • Knowledge in the repair and maintenance of diesel engines, power trains, and electrical systems
  • Diagnostic skills and attention to detail
  • Good verbal, written, and computer skills
  • Good character and work ethic
  • Ability to follow manufacturer’s policies and procedures for labor operations, time, and repair order documentation when performing warranty repairs
  • On-the-job factory training and certifications available
  • Internal promotional and growth opportunities based on experience and aptitude
  • Possess your own tools
  • Chauffeur’s License required; CDL a plus
