Job summary

Direct Transport in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to perform upkeep, repair and preventive maintenance on tractors, trailers and heavy equipment.

Must have 3–5 years of diesel engine experience, welding/fabricating and heavy equipment work; CDL Class A license is preferred. • General repair and maintenance of heavy duty equipment.
• Weld trailers and maintain service vehicles.
• Complete all paperwork on trucks.
• Keep parts maintained and stocked.
• Keep garage workspace clean & organized.
• Road calls if necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have 3-5 years of experience on diesel engines, welding/fabricating and heavy equipment.
CDL Class A license, preferred.
