Job summary

A family-owned transportation company in Dayton, Ohio is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to diagnose and repair tractor components, perform preventative maintenance, and execute DOT inspections. Ideal candidates should have over 2 years of experience, proficiency in computer diagnostics, and a clean driver's license. CDL and ASE certifications are preferred. Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with tractor and trailer preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Experience with air brakes is necessary.
• Proficient with computers and diagnostics equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing tractor components.

• Conducting tune-ups and welding as needed.

J & J Transportation is a small, family-owned company, that has been in the business for over 20 years. We have immediate openings for Diesel Mechanics.

A DIESEL MECHANIC will be expected to diagnose, repair and/or replace tractor components. Preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, tune-ups, welding and other various service shop duties.
