Chaney Enterprises is looking for a skilled Mechanic to keep our fleet and equipment running at peak performance. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of automotive and stationary equipment, including trucks, tractor-trailers, heavy equipment, hydraulic systems, air compressors, and welding gear.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, coordinating repairs with the Manager, supervising a Mechanic's Helper, performing inspections, and maintaining maintenance records.

• Diagnose and repair fleet vehicles and stationary equipment to company standards
• Proactively identify issues and coordinate repairs with the Manager and team
• Supervise and guide a Mechanic's Helper
• Conduct required inspections and complete all maintenance documentation accurately
• Respond to road calls and on-site equipment breakdowns as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
• Follow all safety and environmental regulations; report concerns promptly
• Other duties as assigned
• Pick up equipment or supplies as needed
• Share knowledge by training fellow employees
• Provide coverage for colleagues as needed

Job Specifications:

• Exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals (fuel, grease, oil)
• Close proximity to moving mechanical parts
• Moderate to loud noise levels

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to handle heavy materials, including lifting up to 100 lbs. and pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
