Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Location: Fort Worth, TX Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:30 AM to 8 PM (some travel and overtime may be required) Description: Are you a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team in Fort Worth. In this role, you'll be essential to maintaining and repairing our fleet, ensuring all vehicles operate at their best. As a Diesel Mechanic with us, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues. With your expertise, we rely on you to keep our fleet running smoothly and safely while adhering to all safety protocols. You'll be part of a close-knit team that works together to tackle larger repair projects and ensure our vehicles stay in top condition. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair diesel engine issues, performing repairs efficiently and to the highest standards. Conduct routine maintenance services on fleet vehicles to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues quickly, minimizing downtime. Inspect vehicles for safety and efficiency, recommending repairs or replacements as needed. Maintain detailed records of repairs, services, and inspections for each vehicle. Collaborate with team members and assist in larger repair projects as needed. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, following protocols during repairs and maintenance. Assist the lead mechanic with major repairs, supporting complex troubleshooting and solutions. Must have own tools. Must be able to perform road calls. What We're Looking For: CDL license preferred but not required Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of diesel engine components and systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment, with a sharp mechanical aptitude. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, systems, and components. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring the safety and efficiency of all vehicles. Must be able to travel and work overtime based on business needs. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Diesel Mechanic certification is preferred but not required.
